Based on the above listed test results, we recommend that the subgrade of the proposed
pavement be stabilized with the addition of seven percent (7%) hydrated lime (approximately
31.5 pounds of lime per square yard, for a six inch (6") thick stabilized layer). The lime
stabilization should be performed in accordance with the accepted plans and specifications.
