Identifier: Flood Plain Reclamation for Carter Addition Flooding Source: Grapevine Creek FIRM Panel(s) Affected: 0010 E In a letter dated May 14, 1998, we informed you that we received the data and the review and processing fee required to begin a detailed technical review of your request. With your May 6 request, Mr. Donald J. Carter submitted a check dated May 5, 1997, in the amount of $3,100 to defray the cost of FEMA's review. Because 90 days have passed since the date of the check, it is void and being returned with this letter. Effective October 1, 1996, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) revised the fee schedule for reviewing and processing requests for conditional and final modifications to published flood information and maps. FEMA established flat review and processing fees for most types of requests. Effective March 10, 1997, FEMA modified the fee schedule that became effective on October 1. A copy of the notice published in the Federal Register is enclosed for your information. The fee for your request, $3,100, must be submitted before we can begin processing your request. Payment of this fee must be made in the form of a check or money order, made payable in U.S. funds to the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), or a credit card payment. For identification purposes, the case number referenced above must be included on the check or money order.
