The City of Coppell (the "CITY") and Teague Nall and Perkins, Inc., (TNP, the
"ENGINEER"), acting herein by and through their duly authorized representatives,
enter into the following contract which amends the Consulting Engineers
Contract (the "Contract") for the subject project, dated July 26, 2011.
1. This Amendment No. 1 revises the original Scope of Work to include: Plans and
design for approximately 900 linear feet (450 If on each bank) of wall
improvements along Alex Drive Canal from Parkway Blvd. north to the concrete
spillway.
2. The ENGINEER agrees to perform these additional design services in
accordance with the terms set forth in the Contract and this Amendment No. 1.
3. The CITY agrees to compensate ENGINEER an additional amount of $40,800 for
this change to the Scope of Work. More specifically, Item 3 of the Agreement
(pg. 3), paragraphs A, B, and C; and the Compensation section of "Attachment A
— Scope of Services," shall be revised to increase the amount of Compensation
as follows:
a. The fee for Basic Services Part I, Item 3, Paragraph A of the Agreement,
shall be increased from $66,500 to $104,000;
b. The fee for Basic Services Part II, Item 3, Paragraph B of the Agreement,
shall be increased from $12,000 to $15,300;
c. The total maximum fee for this Contract, Item 3, Paragraph C of the
Agreement, shall be increased from $78,500 to $119,300;
d. The fee's listed under the Compensation of Attachment A (pg 17), shall be
revised as follows:
BASIC SERVICES Part I Fee:
A. Engineering, increases from $55,000 to $84,500

B. Design Survey, increases from $11,000 to $19,500
BASIC SERVICES Part II Fee:
A. Reimbursable, increases from $2,000 to $2,800
B. Environmental, increases from $10,000 to $12,500
4. All other provisions of the Contract, which are not expressly amended herein,
shall remain in full force and effect.
Receipt of an executed copy of this Amendment will serve as Notice of Continuation to
ENGINEER.
