RE: Service History 201 N. Coppell Road
Per your request I have researched our files regarding the above
referenced water service. Below I have listed the history and have
provided copies of support documents.
Service Address: 201 N. Coppell Road
Water Meter Information: New - Factory test - 9-5-89
Meter #8972347 - Installed - 8-20-90
1 1/2 " PMM Precision - Inspected - 10-25-90
Maintenance Information:
- Inspected and found to be installed correctly on October 25,
1990.
- After meter was read on 12/17/90 computer discovered mis-read and
meter was found to be installed backwards and report was issued to
Water Utilities 12/28/90.
- On 12/28/90 - Meter was removed and placed in setting properly.
Meter Reading History:
8-20-90 - Deposit placed on account
8-20-90 - Meter issued - 200 gallons
9-24-90 - Read - 13,400 gallons
10-15-90 - Read - 82,300 gallons
11-15-90 - Read - 116,300 gallons
* Meter was removed and set backwards by someone!
12-17-90 - Read - 95,500 gallons
12-28-90 * Meter was removed and turned around by Utilities
personnel!
1-15-91 - Read - 214,500 gallons
2-5-91 - Water turned off due to bad leak
2-15-91 - Read - 376,300 gallons
I want to again inform you that staff has no idea how the meter was
removed and installed backwards, but I assure you someone had to
have committed this act. I will also mention that staff has
removed the meter and replaced it with a new meter. Staff will be
testing this meter and will report the accuracy after test is
completed.
