When we previously removed trees that had fallen in your property that maybe came from the city right-of-way, I was unaware that you had fenced in the city's right-of-way into your yard. Because the trees are within your fenced yard, you should take appropriate measures to remove them. This is similar to a situation where a homeowner has a tree in their front yard that is actually on city property and the city requires them to trim that tree to 14 feet above the road surface. I am very much aware of this requirement, as on my own property I am in the process of getting my tree trimmed to 14 feet, even though it sits in the city right-of-way. If you choose to have the city remove the trees on your property, you should remove your fencing from the City's right-of-way. If you have any questions about this matter, or need additional clarification, contact me at your convenience. Sincerely, /K.AA rfvolit Ken Griffin, P.E.
