Completion of Project
Dear Mr. Caudill:
This letter is an official notification to your company that contract time for this project has been
exceeded. The Notice to Proceed With Construction letter dated December 13, 2011 served as "your
official notice to begin work on the referenced project on January 9, 2012. For purposes of the contract, your
calendar days will start on that date. Three hundred (300) Calendar Days were bid on this project for
completion of work. Therefore, we anticipate the project being complete by November 4, 2012."
This notification is a reminder and is written to bring to your attention the provision in the contract
allowing for a $1,000 per day penalty for late completion. Penalties began as of November 5, 2012 and
will continue to accumulate at $1,000 per day until final completion and acceptance of the project is
