Re: Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Storage Tank
Engineering Services Agreement Revision
Dear Mr. Griffin:
As you know, the Noahpoint Drive alignment modifications associated with the Wagon Wheel Ranch
Elevated Storage Tank required that 11 out of the 17 construction plan sheet be revised, including setting new
grade on Northpoint Drive, the 24-inch water line, the outfall drainage channel and the site finish grading.
Other changes resulting from the re-alignment included modifying the driveway entrances, fencing and gates,
and re-designing the entry feature landscaping. In total, we have over 90 hours of production time logged to
implement the change.
In addition, in order to coordinate the construction of the Sandy Lake Road Water Line with the Forest Cove
Addition, we were requested to divided the water line project in two phases, with phase one being constructed
as a change order to the Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Tank project. Although not a major undertaking, we
did not anticipate this need during the initial or final design phases of the water line project. The two part
phasing made it necessary to rework the construction plans and project quantities, and assist the City in
preparing and negotiating the change order work with the contractor.
Therefore, to cover the additional services provided, we respectfully request that our lump sum contract for
engineering services related to contract administration on the Wagon Wheel Ranch Elevated Storage Tank, be
amended as follows:
a) Northpoint Drive Extension Modifications: $6,750 Lump Sum
b) Sandy Lake Road Water Line Change Order: $2,000 Lump Sum
Total Amount of Change: $8,750 Lump Sum
