I have requested that the as-built drainage and maintenance bonds
be submitted to the Engineering department.
At this date, the maintenance bond for utility construction and the
as-built drawings have been received from Mr. Doyle Cameron with
Cameron Development Co. However, the developer has indicated that
a one year maintenance bond for the paving construction would not
be obtainable.
I have requested a letter of agreement from the development owner,
Duncan, Dickson & Taylor, a Texas partnership, be submitted to us
for review, indemnifying the City of Coppell against any loss or
damage for a period of one year and binding the development owner
to the penal sum of $6,254.00, based on the paving construction
cost. (See attached)
After receiving the letter of agreement, a copy was transmitted to
Mr. Frank Trando of Finance Department for review.
If the letter of agreements is acceptable, please let me know when
the final acceptance letter for Channel Pointe can be written and
sent to the developers.
If I can be of further assistance, please let me know.
Thank you.
