Rone Engineering Services, Ltd. (Rone) founded in
1972, is a leading provider of Construction
Materials Testing services throughout Texas and the Southwest. With offices located in
Dallas, Fort Worth and Houston, Rone continues to be one of the fastest growing firms in the
industry.
At the heart of our growth has been a commitment to excellence, the desire to provide
meaningful work for our employees and a passion for involvement in our clients.
Our staff of over 100 professionals is dedicated to providing creative cost - effective solutions for
our customers. We have a well- earned reputation for being an "on- time" team player even
when faced with the most challenging engineering and construction projects.
Rone's offices are each operated in accordance with ASTM D3740 and ASTM E329. Rone is
one of the three firms to hold A2LA laboratory accreditation for materials testing in the
metroplex. Please see www.a2la.org for more information. We currently participate in the
Cement and Concrete Reference Laboratory (CCRL) system of laboratory inspection.
Furthermore, Rone has developed and implemented an internal QA/QC program for the benefit
of our clients. Our program is built around three key building blocks. First, we provide access
to training and continuing education for our personnel through internal as well as external
resources. Some of the programs that Rone utilizes include:
• American Concrete Institute (ACI)
• National Institute for the Certification of Engineering Technicians (NICET)
• Post Tension Institute (PTI)
• International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO)
• Precast, Prestressed Concrete institute (PCi)
• American Welding Society (AWS)
• American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME)
• Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT)
Second, our program involves regular verification of equipment calibration and compliance.
Finally, Rone performs random audits of field personnel as they perform their services in the
field on a daily basis. Rone also regularly performs internal reviews of laboratory testing
procedures, report review procedures and project staffing requirements and procedures and
document these findings. Rone's QA/QC files are open for review at any time by our clients.
In the following sections, we will give you an overview of our services, provide a summary of
successful projects we have recently completed, list several of our important customers and
introduce you to some of our key employees.
Thank you for considering Rone and we look forward to being part of the construction team on
your next project.

Rone is prepared to provide all necessary services /inspections /testing as will be required for the
referenced project. Our offices include over 80,000 square feet of space that house more than
100 professionals as well as state of the art equipment. Rone's construction materials
professionals have extensive experience in materials testing and inspection services for projects
of this type and scope as demonstrated in our project portfolio.
Rone will provide a single point of contact in our office for the project. In addition, we will devote
a senior level field technician to this project. Rone's personnel, which include in excess of 55
field technicians, are directed through our central dispatch system to provide timely distribution
of our work force for all of our projects. The size of our staff makes Rone a logical choice for a
project of this magnitude, as we are able to provide in -house personnel who will work closely
with the lead technician throughout the life of the project. Such flexibility provides the customer
with a higher degree of confidence that the project will run smoothly and is less likely to
experience disruption due to continually changing personnel. We are often asked to provide
daily and /or weekly delivery of reports to accommodate our customers' needs. We will create
such a delivery schedule as may be needed for the project to be successful. Additional
reporting capacity to our clients is available with our web site at www.roneengineers.com. Rone
will post all reports for the project online for viewing by our clients (password protected) along
with a selected distribution list at our client's request. Specific on -site scheduling of personnel
for this project will be performed by the senior field technician assigned to the project in
conjunction with our central dispatch system.
All testing required to be performed on the project will conform to the appropriate governing
standards. Rone will issue all final reports in accordance with timeframes agreed upon prior to
project commencement. We would be pleased to discuss report delivery timeframes in greater
detail prior to initial project activity so that all persons are in agreement as to expected report
delivery given the variety of reports that may be required for this project. Rone's assigned
project manager will be responsible for reviewing all reports, invoicing and budget updates. The
project manager will have the responsibility of assuring that all reports are turned in and
reviewed as well as assisting the senior field technician with day -to -day duties.
