Dear Ken:
As the owner of the proposed CHAUCER ESTATES, we respectfully request that an early
start permit be granted for the clearing and excavation phase of this project. It is our
understanding that this work is being started prior to final acceptance of the Engineering
Plans. Please accept this letter as our permit to begin this work.
Per a recent conversation with Mr. LarD.' Davis of your office, work can commence under
the following conditions:
1) No drainage shall be directed onto private property other than into the
existing drainage course along the North side of this tract.
2) A temporary type III barricade will be installed across the two street
entrances on Heartz Road by the Contractor.
3) An3' mud which gets into Heartz Road as a result of construction shall be
cleaned up immediately by the Contractor.
4) The City shall be held harmless of any work performed by the Contractor.
It is my understanding that your final review comments should be ready within the next
few weeks. It is our intent to begin work as soon as possible as this project has already
been delayed several months.
