Concrete Paving Requirements
Mr. O'Dell:
Based on the recommendation found in our site geotechnical report, and pursuant to our conversation
during our recent preconstruction meeting, we respectfully request that the City allow our site paving
construction to proceed without a hydrated lime stabilized subgrade.
In lieu of the required lime stabilized subgrade, we agree to increase the fire lane and parking area
pavement thickness by 1" (each). We also agree to construct the increased pavement thickness with #4
steel reinforcement bars at 18" O.C.E.W. Site paving will be constructed on subgrade compacted to 95%
Standard Proctor Density.
