RE: MAINTENANCE "BOND" ON 150 N. MOORE ROAD
Dear Steve:
Enclosed you'll find a safekeeping receipt and a copy of a $1,000
certificate of deposit made payable to the City of Coppell and
Patina Properties, Inc. The certificate of deposit will stand in
lieu of our providing you with a maintenance bond from a surety
company for the sidewalk, approaches, and storm sewer we installed
on behalf of Children's World at their new facility (150 N. Moore
Road).
We understand that if, at the end of one year, no claim has been
made by the City for failures of the.public improvements, the City
will relinquish all right to the C.D. and the C.D. plus interest
will be funded to Patina Properties, Inc.
Enclosed you'll also find a pink copy of the C.D., which needs to
be signed by a representative of the City and returned to me:
I must give this to the Bank as acknowledgement and authorization
from the City to purchase the C.D.
Your help in this matter has been greatly appreciated.
Sincerely,
at'hymning 1 e
