Masonry Wail
The masonry wall that Is going to enclose the spiral stair case that is shown on sheets 47 and 59 will have to be moved to
the south just a bit to miss the handrail for the stair, The plans show a dimension of 6"-1". but to miss the handrail t0 the
north the wall will have to move to the south roughly 4". is this acceptable? Please advice.

The south masonry wall can be moved to the south as necessary to miss the handrail. Please
confirm that this will leave adequate room to open the access hatch located south of the wall.
The City would prefer that the hinges for this hatch be on the north. However, if there is not
adequate room to open the hatch with this configuration, the hinges can be on the south_
