Description of Roofing Operations:
I. King of Texas began laying 4' x 8' panels of isoboard insulation on metal deck at 8:00 a.m. starting t¥om the west end o£the root'and working east. An
inspection was made of insulation boards for wetness and numerous panels were removed. Isoboard panels were secured to thc underlying deck along thc
east and west parapet walls, at mid-roof along the north edge of the standing seam roof and around the sky light curved roof. Isoboard was secured using
reinforced roofing membrane, 3~4' screws and locking plates spaced 12" O.C. Laying of EPDM membrane ',,.'as then began. Upon completion of
approximately half of the single ply membrane, windy condition and threatening weather began to move in. King of Texas began quickly and temporarily
cementing using Sure Seal along all joints and vertical surfaces. Single ply membrane was accidently damaged at one location and brought to the auention
of the contractor. A double layer of EPDM was added at most roof penetrations and comers. Rain began falling at approximately 11:45 a.m. The north
edge of insulation boards as well as numerous un-laid insulation boards were left exposed to the wind and rain. Due to inclement weather, a check for
damage and ',vorkmanship will have to be done on next days roofing operations.
2. Berbice Corporation continued to lay standing seam metal roof panels on the west end of the roof adjacent to and on top of the dormer. Standing seam
roofing operations were halted at 11:00 a.m. due to high winds. One section of unlaid standing seam panel was damaged duc to wind.
