We appreciate this input due to the fact that it helps in making changes in station operations to reduce the odor. Staff has experimented with different techniques to reduce the odor at the station, several of those are listed below: · Treating with ozomatic control twice a day Monday through Friday and once on Saturday and Sunday. · · Rework Pumps to ensure peak performance. · Installed new lid on wet well. · Washing down wet well with a grease cleaning solution. · Provided deodorized ventilation over the drywell & wet well vents to mask any odor that may be emitted. Please call to report any odors to (972) 304-3545 and let us know the time and date. We will continue to monitor this and would like to reiterate that we will not be able to alleviate the odor completely, but with help, we can continue to monitor the progress of changes made at the station. If you have any questions or concerns please call me at 304-3545. Sincerely, ~/~ Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E. No one contacted me the last two times I wrote and asked what the status was and how you all believed it was doing. I am hoping you will advise me that it is under control and wa won't have to deal with the smell. What happens when it starts up like this??? I would like an answer this time. Thanks. Sincerely, CandE Wright
