Re: Village Parkway Pump Station
City of Coppell, Texas
Dear Mr. Hirschey:
We have been requested by the city of Coppell to relocate the 24"
gate valve proposed for the North side of Sandy Lake Road at the
existing pump station. The desired valve location is just North
of the proposed tie-in of the new 36" influent line to the
existing 24" ROFC by-pass line on the South side of Sandy Lake
Road (see attached sketch).
Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions
regarding this matter.
Sincerely,
Sanford W. Case,
Project Manager

RE: Placement of 24" valve at the existing Ground Storage Facility
Pump Station Contract
Dear Mr. Case:
After speaking with Ned Durbin with Cajun Contractors regarding the
36" water line tie-in at the Ground Storage Facility and reviewing
the plans, I feel that the proposed 24" valve on the north -side of
Sandy Lake should be installed at the same time the tie-in for the
36" line is installed.
This would only require one excavation and would prevent the contractor
from having to disturb the existing 16" tee on the north side of Sandy
Lake. Therefore, I would like to request that the valve be installed
in the same area as the 36" water line tie-in.
If you have any questions regarding this matter, please advise.
