SUBJECT: Pump Station Improvements
Bids were received for the above referenced project on
February 20, 1986 at 10:30 AM. Below is a summary of the
four (4) bids submitted:
Onyx Construction Company $ 45,960.00
Tim Smith Construction Co. 51,131.02
Jamco Construction Co. 65,526.00
C. L. Teel Construction Co. 135,216.42
After reviewing the bids, we acknowledge Onyx Construction
Company as the successful low bidder. Bid tabulations are
enclosed.
It is our recommendation that a contract be awarded Onyx
Construction Company for the bid amount of $45,960.00.
Contract time for this project is'45 calendar days with
liquidated damages in the amount of '$80.00 per calendar day.
The source of funding for this project is the current water
bond program which budgeted $75,000 for this project.
We request that you place this item on the next scheduled
council agenda.
