Re: Village Parkway Pump Station
City of Coppell, Texas
Dear Mr. Hershey:
In the event of a delay to the Village Parkway Pump Station
project caused by the failure of Worthington Pumps to meet the
required 225 day delivery of the pumps and motors, we would
recommend to the City of Coppell an extension of the contract
time as follows:
If Dresser Industries (Worthington Pump) should fail to deliver
the pumps and motors within the contractual time requirement,
through no fault of Cajun Contractors, Inc., then Cajun should be
granted an extension in contract time equaling number of days
which the pumping equipment is delayed. Any additional expense
incurred by Cajun as a result of Worthingtons' failure to meet
its' contractual obligations would be between Cajun and
Worthington.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
Sincerely,
Case, P.E.
