RE: Castlebury Court
Dear Mr. Goodwin:
The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to
offer:
On the paving plan, in lieu of constructing a brick paver band off of the right-of-way of
Sandy Lake Road as shown, the City recommends that the contractor supply the
appropriate quantity of specified pavers to the City. At the time the drive approach to
Castlebury Court is constructed with the Sandy Lake Road reconstruction, the Sandy
Lake Road contractor will construct the brick paver band adjoining the sidewalks per the
City Streetscape Plan. Accordingly, show the brick paver band on the "FUTURE
CASTLEBURY CONNECTION" detail, show no brick paver band to be constructed by
the developer, and make a note on the plans that brick pavers will be provided to the City
and the brick paver band is to be constructed by others.
The curb inlets on Castlebury Court near Sandy Lake Road need to be moved to the south
some to make room for furore ADA ramps.
Note on the "FUTURE STORM DRAIN CONNECTION DETAIL" that the detail is for
informational purposes only.
Note that as part of the Sandy Lake Road reconstruction project, Lone Star Gas is
relocating the gas line to the south side of Sandy Lake Road. Please contact them for the
new alignment.
Use the City of Coppell Standard Construction Detail for the sewer service connection.
The alley right-of-way dedication will need to be completed prior to commencement of
construction activities. Please refer to the attached response from the City's Attorney as
to the required changes to the right-of-way documents.
There are various other minor commentS throughOut the plans. When all COmments have been
addressed, please return these marked plans and two sets of revised plans to the City for
review. If you have any questions, please contact me at (972) 304-7019.
Sincerely,
