As you are aware, this project was scheduled for November 15,
1994. We have encountered a substantial drainage project in the
alleys behind 919 and 923 Mallard and 840 Blue Jay. These homes
are getting water into their garages during heavy rain periods
due to some grade problems in the alley flow lines. It is my
recommendation to correct these problems prior to installing the
sidewalk.
I anticipate removal and replacement on Mallard to begin on
November 21, 1994 and be completed by December 12, 1994, weather
permitting. With the Christmas holidays rapidly approaching, I
recommend starting the Blue Jay project on January 3, 1995. This
project would be completed by January 23, 1995.
It may be possible for the sidewalk to be installed between
December 12 and December 22, however, it is impossible to
anticipate the weather or any possible problems we may run into
on the alley project. It is my recommendation to perform the
installation of the sidewalk after the alleys have been
completed. This would delay this project till January 23, 1995.
