June 21rst, and an bringing the station on-line with the water
system, changes in system pressure will occur. With the increase
in the amount of water being pumped into the water system, water
pressure throughout the system will increase anywhere from 6 to
14 p.s.i.. With the increase in pressures each customer will
experience increases in water usage, due to the fact the water
volume will increase as the pressure increases. Staff feels that
high-water bill complaints will increase by 10-15% during the
month of July, 1990, due to this fact alone.
Please advise if your staff will need to be trained in how
to explain this matter to water customers.
