Box 540487 Dallas, Texas 75354-0487 Re: Village Parkway Pump Station Dear Mr. Durbin: It has been brought to our attention that a manhole was discovered below grade at your proposed crossing of the Coppell Municipal Utility District (MUD) 27" sanitary sewer line along Sandy Lake Road. You have also stated that your operations are halted while awaiting direction from us on this matter. Please be advised that the contract clearly states that it is the Contractor's sole responsibility to anticipate and/or verify conflicts and give advance notice to the utility owner. Furthermore, the Contractor is responsible for the relocation of any utility which may interfere with the performance of this contract. This apparent conflict has occurred on the alternate alignment which was proposed by Cajun Contractors, Inc. for its convenience. Your expediant resolution of this conflict with the MUD will be necessary to minimize the delay you are experiencing. We recommend that you contact the MUD and their engineer, Mr. Jeff Hawkins of Pierce-Lunsford Associates, Inc. at 871-2126 to devise a method of resolving this conflict which is acceptable to the MUD. If you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact our office. Sincerely, Sanford W. Case, P.E. cc: Karl Hirschey, Cajun Contractors, Inc. Steve Goram H. Wayne Ginn, r.~?
