Add:
BID SECURITY: A cashier's check or an acceptable Bidder's Bond payable to the City
of Coppell in an amount of not less than five per cent (5 %) of the largest possible total of
the bid submitted must accompany the bid, and is subject to forfeit in the event the
successful bidder fails to execute the contract documents within ten (10) days after the
contract has been awarded. Bids without check or bid bond will not be considered.
All bid securities will be returned to the respective bidders within ten (10) days after bids
are opened, except those which the Owner elects to hold until the successful bidder has
executed the contract. Thereafter, all remaining securities, including security of the
successfu! bidder, will be returned within ten (10) days after the contract is awarded.
