Keith and Bobby,
The next 5-6 days the contractor will be in a period of intense work to
move construction to the East side of the dam. We may have early
morning work as well as late evening work in order to have the river
shutdown for the least amount of time.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Just to let you both know – we are starting construction in earnest.
The next 72 hours are going to be continuous construction. Kyle Parks,
our security coordinator for the water department, has talked to
Carrollton Police Department. If he needs to talk to the Coppell Police
just let us know.
Thank you.

Subject: Carrollton Dam construction
Frank,
Starting early tomorrow morning (around 2-3 am) the contractor will be
mobilizing at the Carrollton Dam (Sandy Lake Road at Trinity River).
The construction will be 24 hours a day until they are complete with
cofferdam construction around Friday evening or before.
The activities will include:
Temporarily stop the flow over the dam to accommodate construction of
the cofferdam base in the river bed below the dam.
Perform fish relocation as required by the Texas Parks and Wildlife
Department (lake management firm is doing this relocation activity in
coordination with our contractor, Archer Western Contractors).
Install base, cofferdam, temporary water control piping, access road,
and other necessary items to accommodate construction.
Resume water flow over dam.
Normal construction activity will be 6 am to 11 pm after this time
except when we move the weir to accommodate construction activities on
the left bank (right bank construction is first) and when we remove the
cofferdam. Estimated times for these are the end of November and late
December or early January.
I will refer media requests to you unless otherwise directed.
Thank you,
Kimberlie
