Mr. Kenneth Griffin, P.E.
City Engineer
City of Coppell
255 Parkway Boulevard
Coppell, Texas 75019
Dear Kenneth:
We are in the process of completing the fill for The Estates of
Cambridge Manor. To complete the process, our client purchased a
tract of land east of the site. To transport the material to the
site, it will be necessary to disturb a section of DeForest Road.
Approximately 550 L.F. of roadway will be disturbed. DeForest Road
appears to consist of a combination of flexbase (approximately 3"
thick) with a poor surface course of 1" The roadway is
approximately 15 feet wide.
We recommend that the surface be scarified, and re-compacted on the
existing surface. Upon the completion of the haul operation, we
will replace the surface with a 2" surface course treatement of
H.M.A.C.
If you have any questions please contact me.
Very truly yours,
William A. Anderson, P. E.
