RE: Cambridge Manor Estates
Dear Mr. Bommarito:
On April 25th, 1994, the Coppell Municipal Utility District No. 1 made a motion to dissolve.
The City will be assuming the operation and maintenance of all improvements.
This letter is written to provide the current status of the Cambridge Manor Estates ability to
connect to existing sanitary sewer lines in MacArthur Blvd. Your plans show the construction
of a ten inch sanitary sewer line from Cambridge Manor Estates westward to MacArthur Blvd.
Based on the study performed by Freeman-Milligan, there appears to be adequate capacity today
to accept the development of Cambridge Manor Estates in the existing utility lines in MacArthur
and the Lake Park/Deforest Lift Station. Therefore, this line will be allowed to be constructed
and connected to the existing utility lines.
As we have discussed, an outstanding issue is the Waste Water Impact Fee. I have reviewed
our Impact Fee schedule and because the MUD has dissolved, the City will be enforcing the
$450 Impact Fee city wide effective immediately.
If you should have any questions concerning this issue please feel free to contact me at your
convenience.
Sincerely,
Kenneth M. Griffin, P.E.
