Utility Subcontractor Substitution
Dear Mr. Case:
We are submitting the following information to you as a clari-
fication of our letter of December 1~ 1988, and your letter of
December 2~ 1988.
We will not substitute Dawson Construction Company, Inc. for
Southern Mechanical Plumbing Company, Inc. without an increase to
the Bid Sum of $142~655.00.
We are aware that Division 0~ Section 00100~ Paragraph 1.13 (A) of
the Specifications states that the substitution must be made with-
out an increase in Bid price~ yet we are unwilling to make any
such substitution without an appropriate increase in price.
Should we be awarded a Contract at our original bid price of
$1,986~100.00~ our Subcontractor for the piping and utility work
will be SoutherD Mechanical Plumbing Company~ Inc.
