You have recently received a letter from the Federal Emergency Management
Agency (FEMA) located in Washington, D.C., dated June 23, 1994, notifying you
of the final determination of base flood elevations for the panels noted
above. This revision is a result of information provided to FEMA to support
the request for a Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) for your community. The
revision to the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), will be January 5, 1995. As
stated in the letter, these elevations will be published in the Federal
Register as soon as possible.
As a condition for your Community's continued eligibility in the National
Flood Insurance Program (NFIP), your local floodplain management regulations
must equal or exceed the minimum criteria stated in 44 CFR, Chapter I, Part
60.3(d) of the NFIP regulations. A review of our files indicates that the
current adopted regulations satisfactorily meets the requirements of Section
60.3(d). Your community's continued participation is assured by our
acceptance of these adopted regulations.
