As requested in our conversation on March 17, 1999, I am providing this letter to
acknowledge that the Letter of Map Amendment (LOMA) requested by Mr. Jay
Savage, who resides at 600 Tower Court, could change the delineation of the 100 -year
floodway /floodplain for Grapevine Creek. Currently the FIRM for the City of Coppell,
Community Panel Number 480170- 0010E, dated April 15, 1999, shows that a portion
of the property is delineated in floodway /floodplain. If the LOMA meets the
requirements of FEMA, the City of Coppell has no problem with the approval of the
LOMA for the property in question.
