Dear Mr. Witt:
This letter will confirm arrangements to meet on Wednesday, October 13, 1999, at the
Oak Cliff Municipal Center, Room LL06. The building is located at 320 East Jefferson in
Oak Cliff. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. and should not last more than 1 -2 hours.
We will meet to discuss the completed Flood Insurance Study (FIS) and accompanying
Preliminary Maps dated July 30, 1999. This preliminary study introduces a new digital,
countywide system of maps for all of Dallas County, including the communities.
In my presentation, I will discuss the study results and appeals procedures. Please invite
any members of your jurisdiction you feel may benefit from or add to our discussion.
This is an important, Congressionally mandated meeting to introduce and discuss these
new map changes with your community. I look forward to seeing you or your
representative there.
