SUBJECT: Flood Insurance Rate Map Revision
Denton Tap Road Bridge Crossing Grapevine Creek
DATE: October 6, 1992 .
As you may know, FEMA is in the process of revising our floodplain maps. Apparently, there
are still some items that need to be addressed as related to the referenced Denton Tap Road
Bridge (i.e. as-built plans, maintenance, etc.).
It is requested by FEMA, per subparagraph 60.3 (b)(7) of NFIP regulations, the City shall assure
that the channel modifications related to the Denton Tap Road bridge replacement be properly
maintained. (See attached check list dated January 3, 1991)
Please provide a letter to FEMA to the attention of Matthew Miller, P.E., addressing the channel
maintenance, at your earliest convenience, and forward it to me for inclusion with other necessary
documents before submitted to FEMA.
If I can be of any assistance, please advise. I appreciate your help.
