Ernie advised me that he was providing you information regarding the conversion of
existing North Service Center into predominately Fleet Services operations. He also
advised that he was being supported by both Gary Sims and Bob Kruse based on their
operational needs.
I had told Ernie early on that plans were already being proposed for this facility to include
records storage, crewleaders area, and multi-purpose meeting rooms for the field
personnel, both for Leisure Services and Public Works and that he needed to get with you
if he had different ideas.
I just wanted to go on the record as stating that I do not support the plans as presented by
the Fleet Services department (in case you are told otherwise), and to advise you of possible
"behind the scene" discussions initiated by Ernie Ramos.
