Dear Mr. Chritton:
Thank you for your recent request to submit Faibanks-Morse pumps
on the above referenced project. Since the time of your
submittal, Addendum #1 has been issued to all plan holders of
record which includes a revision to the pump specifications.
Our review of your submittal indicates that the Fairbanks-Morse
10" Series 2824A pump does not appear to meet the required
efficiencies at the Design Rated Point, the Minimum Capacity
Point, and Minimum Parallel Operating Point for this project.
Under the evaluation criteria, these deficiencies would be
subjected to penalties.
If you desire to revise your submittal or submit another pump for
consideration, we will be happy to review it at that time.
