Dear Mr. Murphy:
Thank you for your recent request to submit Allis Chalmers pumps
on the above referenced project. Since the time of your
submittal, Addendum #1 has been issued to all plan holders of
record which includes a revision to the pump specifications.
Our review of your submittal indicates that while the Allis
Chalmers 16x12x23 9000 Series pump does appear to meet the design
rated point, it appears to not meet the Minimum Capacity Point,
Minimum Parallel Operating Point, and Required Minimum Shut Off
Head for this project. Under the evaluation criteria, these
deficiencies would be subjected to penalties.
If you desire to revise your submittal or submit another pump for
consideration, we will be happy to review it at that time.
