Halff Associates, Inc. 1201 North Bowser Rd Richardson, TX 75081 RE: DFW Airport Property - Fresenius Medical Care AV CAL Dear Mr. Littleton: The City of Coppell has reviewed the referenced plans and has the following comments to offer: General Notes— 1. Note 11 under the Water Notes shall be revised to reflect the purchase of the domestic and irrigation meters from the City of Coppell Public Works Service Center located at 816 S. Coppell Road. See attached fee table for costs. 2. The "fire service notes" indicates that the pipe size from the main to the riser is subject to change based upon sprinkler design. If these items change, the civil plans shall be revised and submitted for review prior to commencing construction. 3. Double detector checks within the fire vaults shall be supplied by the contractor, and shall be from the approved list published by the city of Coppell. Paving Plan- 1. Update the legend on sheet C2.01 to reflect the 8" and 9" paving in the turn lanes and the stamped concrete in the median of Bethel Road and the band in the driveway. 2. Irrigation sleeves shall be extended to the limit of the proposed stamped concrete on sheet C2.02. 3. Landscape and irrigation modifications shall be coordinated with John Elias at the City of Coppell Parks Department. John can be reached at 972-462-5115. 4. All work required on the relocation of the street light on sheet C2.02 shall be coordinated with Oncor Electric Delivery. 5. All paving within the City of Coppell right of way shall have steel reinforcing of#4 bars at 18" spacing each way. Water Plan— 1. The crossing of Bethel Road shall be by other than open cut. 2. It would be better to move the two crossings to the west where the tap can be made in the wider landscaped area of the median rather than the narrow section under the stamped concrete. 3. Water meters shall be purchased from the City of Coppell Public Works Service Center. Double detector checks for the fire vaults shall be from the City of Coppell approved list. Wastewater Plan - 1. The profile appears to show the 8" stub-out in the wrong manhole. 2. Identify the line segment between 0+00 and 0+44 in the profile. Traffic Control Plan— 1. Lane closures shall be limited to the hours of 9:00am to 4:00pm. Once the necessary corrections have been made, please return this marked-up set and two sets of revised plans to the City for review. A construction development permit will need to be issued by the City of Coppell for the portion of work under our jurisdiction. Please have the contractor complete the attached forms and return to our office with the revised plans.
