Dear Mr. Case:
We have completed review of 11 sheets of engineering drawings and a single
volume of contractual documents submitted with your letter of June 16, 1988.
This planning material describes the proposed construction of a 4 million
gallon wire-wound circular prestressed-concrete water storage tank. The
purpose of this storage facility is to provide additional storage to meet
future quantity requirements. Site grading, security fencing and yard piping
are also included in the proposed work. A pump station and off-site supply
main will be constructed in the near future.
Our review has indicated that the proposed facilities were designed in general
compliance with our current standards and are, therefore, approved for
construction provided the specification for cast iron pipe, Ak~A C106, be
deleted as this standard has been discontinued.
We anticipate receipt in the near future of plans and specifications for the
off-site supply pipeline and the pumping station. Please contact us if you
