Enclosed is sheet ~ for the proposed subject project. Lone Star Gas Co. Transmission
Line D9-10(16") is marked and highlighted as requested. This is at the proposed bore site
for the new water line. Line D9-10(16") lies just north of St. Louis and Southwestern
Railroad all along this portion of Beltline and will need to be flagged as marked should
construction work warrant.
Also enclosed are general requirements for construction near Lone Star Gas Company

CONSTRUCTION NEAR LONE STAR GAS COMPANY PIPELINE(S)
No grade changes over the pipeline without permission of Lone Star
Gas Company.
No concrete over the pipeline except at crossings of streets, curbs,
gutters or sidewalks.
Parking lots will have a 20' strip of asphalt (10' from center of pipeline
in both directions) installed. A pea gravel filled trench, 18" wide and
18" deep over the pipeline, will,be installed pdor to paving.
Inspection vents will be installed in asphalt at minimum 50 feet
centers. Vents are available at Tejas Plastics in Fort Worth, Texas.

No permanent structure within 25 feet of the pipeline.
No utilities shall parallel the gas line within the easement. Crossings
of the line must be made at approximately 90 degree angles.
All utilities crossings the pipeline, such as water, sewer, electric and
telephone~ shall be at a depth sufficient to allow 18" minimum
clearance beneath the pipeline.
All ei.ectric, television and telephone lines crossing the pipeline must
be in steel conduit for a minimum clearance of 10 feet on each side
of the pipeline.
Signs and light standards shall be considered on an individual basis,
and in no case will they be permitted closer than 10 feet on each side
of the pipeline.
For development involving Transmission (high pressure gas lines)
call the Lone Star Gas office in Dallas - 214/579-0232, forty eight
hours pdor to any work being done in the easement dght of way. For
Distribution (low pressure gas lines) contact the local Distribution -'
office.
