4. 24" Cross-town Water Line
Contract awarded to McLean Construction Co., Killeen, TX, on
December 13, 1988 for the amount of $1,377,797.30.
Still awaiting City of Dallas route approval.
Issued Notice-to-Proceed with construction on or before
February 13, 1989. 150 calendar day contract.
Working with ABQ/Parche via DRC process regarding ABQ's
escrow requirements for their portion of Line C.
5. Ground Storage Tank
Contract awarded by Council on August 2, 1988.
Contract amount is $2,088,750.00.
Notice to Proceed issued 8/29/88. 345 calendar day
contract. Completion date to be 8/9/89.
Contractor has completed casting and erecting the wall
panels. Falsework is complete and are beginning formwork
for dome roof. Work is ahead of schedule.
As of January 31, 1989: 45% time used and 57% work
completed.
6. PumD Station
Contract awarded December 13, 1988 to Cajun Contractors,
Inc. (2nd low bidder) for contract amount of $2,336,772.00
which includes the assignment of $179,172.00 of Worthington
pumps.
Notice-to-Proceed was issued January 26, 1989.
Contractor has started move-in, site clearing and shop
drawings submittal.
Change Order No. One (1) submitted to City for approval;
Items will alleviate utility conflicts, delete some road
bores and accommodate the re-surfacing of Kimbel Kourt. No
change to contract time or value.
MISCELLANEOUS PROJECT8
7. Belt Line Traffic Signals
Contract awarded to Arjang Electric Systems, Inc. on July
26, 1988 by Council for $90,247.21.
Change Order No. 1 approved 7/26/88 reducing contract to
$85,254 . 11.
Project was substantially complete on November 23, 1988.
Contractor has completed the punch list items and is working
on providing the required contract close-out submittals.
8. P & Z
Kevin Peiffer currently Acting P & Z coordinator.
Working with staff on as-needed basis.
Current projects are: Heartz Road (Extension North), Parkway
Blvd. (West) , Shadowridge Estates - Fourth Increment,
Northlake Woodlands East-Phase 12, Coppell Health Care
Center, The Springs of Coppell.
9. MacArthur Blvd./Sandy Lake Intersection
No further participation from Ginn, Inc. on this project.
