Subject: Update on Privacy/Security Wall along Sandy Lake and 100 Cottonwood Drive

Hello Ken,
I apologize that is has been so long since we’ve been in touch. Debbie and I were in to visit you on October 29
and November was an extremely busy travel month for me. Anyway, during that time we went back to the
company who provided the bid for the wall. We found that the original quote (which we reported to be ~$120K
I think) was only 1/3 of the length that we thought. Our desire is to build a wall which would provide privacy
and security the entire length of the property as the wall of trees is doing now. The new quote comes out to
about 3X the old quote which is really no surprise from a cost perspective. The new quote of ~$368K is good
until May 2011 and then adds another ~$29.5K from June 2011 thru December 2013. This should give you a
th
better idea of what our counter proposal will be. If you are available the week of Dec 14 we would be more
than happy to come back to meet with you and deliver our counter proposal and discuss in person.
Best regards,
Roger
