Dear Mr. & Mrs. Anderson:
This letter is in response to your email of December 2, 2009 concerning the city offer to
purchase land owned by you for use as Right of Way for the reconstruction of Sandy
Lake Road. We understand the desire to screen your house and yard from the expanded
Sandv Lake Road, however the screening of the additional 500 feet of property that you
own behind your fenced yard is an expense that we can not justify through the use of
taxpayer funds.
This letter constitutes an offer from the City of Coppell to purchase property owned by
you. Parcel 2 consists of a variable width portion of the south side of the property located
at 101 Cottonwood Drive totaling 20,270 square feet, as described in the attached
exhibits. The city appreciates your willingness to work with us through this process, and
we will continue to be available as issues arise during the construction phase of the
project.
I'his letter constitutes an offer from the City of Coppell for the acquisition of permanent
Right of Way as follows:

In addition to the compensation listed above, the city will fund any necessary closing
costs through Allegiance Title Company in Coppell.
If the above offer is acceptable, please sign below and return to this office. Once the letter
is received, the process for payment of the $162,212.00 can start. Once the check is
available, we will schedule the closing with the title company.
