Box 9478 Coppell, TX 75019 Dear Mr. Griffin: Debbie and I have received the offer from the City of Coppell for Parcel 2. While we are very disappointed by the amount offered we don't feel like it would be worth the time and mental energy to engage legal representation. We have returned the offer with both of our signatures. This couldn't have come at a worse time. It is spring and the trees are in full bloom. When we sit on our back porch in the moming and look out on our property it is very calming. The row of trees along Sandy Lake Road block out any view of the street and cars and most of the noise and makes you feel like you are outside the city and Irving in the country. The same applies when we use our pool. The value of that to us and anyone who may purchase our house in the future is so much more than the city has decided to offer. From a personal perspective, Debbie and I purchased this property and built this home at a cost of over $5M. Putting aside whether or not that was a good decision as the market and our net worth was decreasing, a significant amount of our net worth is tied up in this property. What the City is doing will no doubt have a major effect on the resale value of this property and thus our future. If there is anything you can do to make this easier for us we would certainly appreciate it Sincerely, Roger J. Anderson
