Comments: 6/16/09 —1 sent the City of Coppell and Teague Nall and Perkins notice letters by
registered mail with return receipt.
6/22/09 — Requested Title Insurance
7/8/09 — Received Title Commitment.
7/17/09 — Called Mr. Mills and left a message with his wife for them to discuss a time I could come
out and present the City's offer. She said they would call me back with a time.
7/20/09 — Mr. Mills called and we set 6:30pm today to discuss the offer. I met with Mr. and Mrs.
Mills at their home at 6:30 and discussed the offer. Mr. Mills's main concern was the closeness of
the road to his property. He also requested for the trees that were going to be removed to be
flagged. I told him if I hadn't heard from him in a couple of weeks I would get back with him on
the status of the offer.
9/3/09 — Called with a follow up on where Mr. Mills was with his counter offer. No one was home
and I left a detailed message on his voicemail.
9/11/09 — Mr. Mills called and left a message that he was mailing his counter offer today.
9/14/09 — Mr. Mills called saying he was sending his counter offer and wanted my email address.
The offer hasn't arrived so I call him back to confirm my email address; no answer; left a
message. Mr. Mills called back and we reaffirmed my email address. Received counter offer
9/15/09 — Reviewed counter offer. I found a mistake in my calculations and email Mr. Mills to let
him know his calculations was correct and we would amend our offer to reflect that amount.
9/17/09 — Forward Mr. Mills counter offer to Keith Marvin Project Manager for the City.
9/21/09 — Mailed Mr. Mills the corrected offer letter. Emailed Mr. Mills to let him know his
corrected counter offer was in the mail. Mr. Mills emailed me back requesting all our
correspondence be handled by email. He would not negotiate over the phone or in person.
9/22/09 — Prepared a counter offer to Mr. Mills and sent it to Keith Marvin to review before
emailing to Mr. Mills.
