Re: Street revisions for Sandy Lake Road beginning at Shady Dale Lane to Coppell Road
Dear Mr. Marvin:
We spoke over thirty (30) days ago concerning my property as outlined above. I have many
reservations over the necessity to take part of my property for street revisions;however, I know I
cannot stop progress as it is absolutely needed for the safety for all concerned and the street
improvements as a whole. I have many trees that will be removed for the revised street and I
would like to request that these trees be cut into firewood for my use. As with all homeowners
concerned over this project, we will all be much closer to the street once all revisions have been
made. I request an additional $1,200.00 over your original offer to use landscaping to buffer the
street noise and to help partially with a privacy fence.
I have just recently handled a real estate transaction of a seller in my neighborhood that got
$425,000.00 for his one acre. This is more than the City of Coppell's offer to buy the land for
right -of- way;however, I am not asking that this be changed just consideration of the additional as
mentioned above.
