Included is an offer of compensation based on the appraised value as determined from the Dallas County Appraisal District. This offer is to acquire right of way from two parcels of land owned by Verizon on West Sandy lake Road and two easements to allow the construction of an 8' sidewalk adjacent to the right of way. We previously staked the right of way and called for utility locates for the staked area. We met with Stefani Wilkinson and Carl Shipman to review the areas, and it was determined that Verizon had no utilities within the area that would need to be relocated. Please review these documents and call me at your convenience to discuss this matter. We look forward to finalizing the acquisition of right of way on this project so we can move forward with the much needed widening of Sandy Lake Road. Parcel 8 consists of a variable width portion of the north side of the property located at 201 W. Sandy Lake Road totaling 2,459 square feet, as described in the attached exhibits.
