COMPREHENSIVE PLAN: The Comprehensive Plan shows the property as suitable for
regional retail uses.
DISCUSSION: Inasmuch as staff recommended approval of the zoning change on.this
property, we can support the plat that has been submitted provided all
conditions of zoning approval are followed. There are some subdivision
conditions that must be addressed and they are enumerated under the
staff recommendations section of this report.
RECOMMENDATION TO THE PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION:
Staff recommends approval of the preliminary plat subject to the following
conditions:
1. Black line copies be submitted
2. Notes on plat be consistent with approved zoning
request (i.e., 6 foot or 8 foot screening fence, etc.)
3. Departmental comments
