In 1992, the plans for the first phase of the Denton Creek Siltation Project were approved by
the City and the work performed shortly thereafter. It was my understanding that there would
be subsequent phases of check dams built in the levee area to insure that the original Denton
Creek had the majori y of the flow in it, except in flood situations. With development now
starting to occur along the levee area, the City would like an update as to the status of the future
siltation projects ass ciated with this project. Please provide that information as soon as
possible.
