Thank you for providing the various pieces of i formation needed to formulate an interlocal agreement
between the Northwest Dallas County Flood Control District and the City of Coppell. I have taken a
standard interlocal agreement format that we have utilized numerous times in the past and modified it for
this project between Northwest Dallas County Flood Control District and the City of Coppell. The only
section of the agreement that typically changes om interlocal to interlocal is Section L I have written
that section to state that the City of Coppell has been asked to participate in the amount of $17,964, as
shown in Item #A.1 of the bid tabulation; and if this agreement is approved by City Council that the city
will escrow the money with the district and allow the district to implement the project along with the
other portions of the project.
It is my goal to take this interlocal agreement to City Council for approval on March 8, 2005. To meet
that timeline, I will need information back froni you no later than February 24, 2005 indicating your
concurrence or noting any changes that you would like us to consider in the interlocal agreement.
If you should have any questions please give me call. If not, I look forward to working with the district
on the silt removal project in the near future, pen ing approval of the agreement by City Council.
