The undersigned arrived on site, as requested, to observe the placement of 20 cubic yards of
3000 psi concrete for Paving at Denton Tap Road approach. Please see the attached sketch.
The required test limits were determined to be a slump of 3-5 inches, air content of 3-6%, batch
to placement time of 90 minutes, and concrete temperature range of 50-95 degrees Fahrenheit.
Concrete observed on this date appeared to be placed in compliance with project specifications
with regard to temperature, slump, and batch to placement time. The air content was below the
specified range.
One set of laboratory cylinders was obtained for compressive strength testing in our laboratory.
