If this differs from your understanding, please notify us withtn five working days. Project Issues: I. Bobby Inmon indicated that utility poles have been, or are presently being, relocated to avoid co nstr uctio n. 2. Ed Bell wants to begin with the multi-box culvert and thc City concurs, il' traffic issues can be worked out. 3. Other utility conflicts include gas line relocation to eight feet below the existing ditch grade at the culvert location. Mr. lnmon confirmed that this has been done. 4, The City has TxDOT permits available in their office. 5. Kent Collins has begun marking trees along thc cast-west portion lbr removal. The City will continue these efforts on Friday, 9/24 at 2:00 DM. Trees to be removed will he marked with an orange "X". Letters to residents will be sent out by the City to give them an opportunity to provide input regarding the marked trees. Once marked. Ed Bell needs two weeks to coordinate tree toppers fi)r the tree remowll. 6. Survey control has been established. This should be finished on 9/22. 7. PVC supply is still the only material avaiability problem, according to Ed Bell. *Bell will provide the City with written information including 3 suppliers and their PVC availability. 8. *Bell will contact the Home Owners' Association to establish an early relationship. There are 4 to 5 IIOA's, according to Mr. Collins. 9. Bell has had no contact with the property owners, but plans on placing thc batch plant on ()ne o1' the adjacent properties. Before road closures can occur, City internal effi, rts would need to take place in the way of Council approval. ! l. There are no ch~mges to the project schedule. 12. Work expected in thc next month includes tree marking and removal, fence relocations and property owner contacts by Ed Bell, utility relocations, and box culvert construction, il' approved by City. 13. Ed Bell and Coppell Construction wish to construct the box culvert, as soon ms possible. *Ed Bell will establish in writing how this activity will occur. 14. Traffic is a large City and resident concern with this project. GTE, the apartment complex, several subdivisions, sanitation trucks, school buses, and emergency vehicles use this road regularly. Accessibility is a sensitive issue. 15. 'I'ratT~c plans will have to be approved by City. Road closure will have to be approved by council.. A major selling point wig be ease and speed in construction. 16. *Bell will provide the City with traffic options :for their review in a timely manet. 17. The City urges Bell to consider precast boxes across the roadway, to hasten construction. Upcoming Calendar Events 18.
