Ratliff, City Manager Attendees: Johnny Thompson, Peyton Weaver, Larry Jackson, Greg Jones, Steve Goram, Alan Ratliff After review of the numerous issues surrounding Mar. Thompson's property, the following items were agreed upon and will be addressed: Steve Goram will contact Explorer Pipeline and ask them to mark the location of their pipelines and/or easement as it relates to Mr. Thompson's drive entrance. Mr. Goram will then set up a meeting with Mr. Thompson and representatives of Dallas County to determine if the alignment of the drive entrance can be adjusted to better serve Mr. Thompson's property. Greg Jones will establish a time to meet with Mr. Thompson and to perform a life-safety inspection of the property. Mr. Jones will list possible concerns and those items will be addressed at the next meeting. Steve Goram will secure and bring to the next meeting the information related to the construction of the water line which will provide fire protection. Mr. Thompson will attempt to secure the necessary easements to install this water line. As discussed in this meeting, the City will provide materials and inspection at an estimated cost of $20,900, and Mr. Johnny Thompson will install the line. 4. The City Manager has voiced his concern about the City's acceptance of a street that does not meet current City standards. is to review the access requirements for particularly as they relate to the railroad We will meet again on Friday, November 30, at 9 a.m., to review the status on each of the above-mentioned items. If we can agree to a plan of action on these items, it is our intention to present a status report and proposed solution to the City Council at their December 11 meeting. Additional items discussed are as follows: 1. Johnny Thompson stated it is his desire to finish what he started ten years ago. Other concerns include the grandfathering of all previous construction and activities which have taken place on the property.
